WASTE IN THE ENVIRONMENT

Our environmental problem is “Waste in the environment”. We chose the topic because it is very important that people know about it that involves human consumption and our planet. Waste in the environment is something that concerns all human beings.

Causes

One the problems is the excessive consumption of packaged products. Another cause is that overpopulation because with more people, more waste is generated. Also, the different industries have been producing more plastic to meet our needs.

Effects

Excessive waste generates accumulation of sewage in low areas, causing some disasters. Soil deterioration is also a very serious consequence. Another effect is the disappearance of green areas in many places.

Data we want to know

We want to know how the consumer society produces waste damaging our ecosystems, also what will happen with the time if we do not care for the environment. And what species have disappeared with the time of the harm that causes in our health.

If...

If we throw garbage, there will be more pollution.

If there is more pollution, there will be global warming.

If there is global warming, there will be droughts.

If there is droughts, there will be stronger heat waves.

If there is stronger heat waves, there will be more diseases.

To solve the problem, we should start by consuming fewer products. We should use biodegradable or environmentally friendly products. Another solution is to implement recycling in our homes.

The planet needs us, let's stop this and take care of the environment.

WASTE IN THE ENVIRONMENT

During these years, different organizations have been created for the benefit of the environment, several of these help to reduce waste in the planet.

Here we present some of these organizations with regarding to our topic:

• “Pronatura México”: has obtained the reforestation of more than 30 million native trees in tropical forests, decree of total and permanent veda for the species and subspecies of sea turtle.
• “Espacios naturales y desarrollo sustentable”: this organization is focused on restoring the spaces that have already been damaged by human action.
• “Guardianes del bosque”: the educational community is sensitized to environmental issues, and recycling days are carried out.
• “WWF”: Its mission  in Mexico is to stop the degradation of the planet's natural environment, and build future in which human beings live in harmony with nature.

What have we done?

In our context, we shouldn't throw garbage, we consume less packaged products. Also, we must respect the green areas, we mustn't cut trees, we needn't use the car everyday because it is not necessary.

If we recycle, to the pollution may reduce, and if we use green energies, the earth might be better.

For a solution, we could be in peace with the environment, we ought to be in campaigns of recycling, but we ought not to still damaging the environment.

On the other hand, for a solution of this issue, we think that is better use the 3R, because in the future, we are going to live in this planet and we have to take care of all the species and plants that live in our planet.
